The Chamber’s Annual Awards Luncheon is held each spring. The event includes a networking with Chamber members and local dignitaries, lunch, an overview of the Chamber’s successes during the past year and plans for the future, business awards, and a silent auction. Awards are given for Business of the Year, Corporate Businesses of the Year, Small Business of the Year, and the Hall of Fame Award.
The Chamber Golf Tournament is held in August at the beautiful Highlands Ranch Golf Club. The tournament is a great venue for networking in a relaxed atmosphere. Entry fees include greens fees, cart, range balls, beverage ticket, post-round dinner, awards and giveaways.
The Annual Turkey Day 5K Family Fun Run/Walk is held every year on Thanksgiving Day. This is an event for competitive and recreational runners and walkers of all ages and has become a great Thanksgiving tradition in our community! The race, which begins and ends at Shea Stadium at Redstone Park, is a 5K certified course.
Awards are presented to the top 3 overall men and women finishers and the top 3 men and women finishers in 10 different age group categories. Baby joggers are permitted for runners; dogs on leashes and baby strollers are welcome for the walk.
Registered participants will receive entry into the 5K run or walk, a 100% cotton long-sleeved t-shirt, a goodie bag and refreshments. A portion of the net proceeds benefits the Colorado National Guard Foundation. For more information and to register, go to www.td5k.com.
